You'll be dead in 50 years from now, your thoughts, your opinions, won't matter anyhow!
Isn’t this hard to believe that from today, If you look back after 50 years, you’ll be 75 years old. The things you wanted to achieve, the dreams you dreamt of, the life you always wanted to live, will those be fulfilled? Let me give you a glimpse if you never thought of.
I’m taking this as a hypothetical situation, don’t you think we are living in an autopilot mode? Same routines, same habits but expecting exponential returns in wealth and health? however, in reality what we will get? Its just the linear returns. We as a human, have our own hobbies, happiness. That can be anything, you can define your own happiness(It’s your life.. right?)
You know, most people don’t know what they are doing and why they are doing. Completed schooling, then college with expectation of getting a seat in good engineering college, then moving to the engg. College with the expectation to get placed for a good MNC and retire your parents. After getting a Job, get married, have kids, save money, build house, get old, then die. Good. If this is your plan to live, nothing wrong in that. If you want to live this beautiful stable life, you can live, but don’t forget to enjoy and cherish every moment.
Then there’s another category where they want to explore the life and actually live it. If we divide it into subcategories, the list will be unlimited, it’s better to limit with few of them.
The category where they want stable life like previous case-study but also want to explore whole life. So, is this possible? Absolutely!
The last category, where they want a risky life(few calculated risks and few not), decades of failures, dreaming so high to achieve success and moving with a vision, mostly these people are serving the nation, entrepreneurs, etc.
If I ask you a question,
What life you always wanted to live when you look back on your death bed and won’t regret saying good bye to this world??
We have these few hardcoded opinions, thoughts, grudges, anger, ego, do we really need them? Because, the more you hold on to these things, the more difficult it will become to live because nobody cares what you think of others, what matters is, what you think of yourself? What story you tell yourself when you go to bed at night?
Have you ever sat alone and tried to know yourself? Do you know what person you want to become? Do you know what makes you happy and what makes you sad? Every answer is lying inside you; you are not allowing them to come to the surface.
When we only got 1 chance to live our life, instead of living, why so tensed and worried? How about making this world a better place?
